"twitter:title": "Terms of service | tobbli" --- **Last updated** # **Terms of service** Last updated: 20 September 2026 **The German version is authoritative.** These terms apply to the use of tobbli (tobbli.com and app.tobbli.com) between Emilio Ybarra, Meller Straße 17, 49143 Bissendorf (“provider”) and the user. The German version is authoritative. The [**privacy policy**](https://tobbli.com/it/datenschutz) and the [**DPA**](https://tobbli.com/it/avv) apply in addition. ## **§ 1 Scope and businesses** tobbli is offered only to businesses within the meaning of section 14 of the German Civil Code (freelancers, sole traders, studios, and similar professional users). By registering you confirm that you use tobbli in the course of your trade, business, or profession. A consumer right of withdrawal under sections 312g and 355 BGB therefore does not apply. Your own terms do not apply unless the provider agrees to them in writing. ## **§ 2 Contract and service** The contract for the free plan is formed when you register and, if required, confirm your email address. The contract for tobbli Pro is formed when Stripe checkout completes successfully. tobbli is a web workspace for, among other things, clients, documents (invoices, quotes, credit notes), and optionally projects, time, expenses, boards, a client portal, and automations. The current Free and Pro features are those shown on the pricing page. Core invoicing (including common tax modes and e-invoicing) stays on Free where listed there. The provider does not owe a specific uptime or support SLA. Incidents are handled as operationally possible. ## **§ 3 Prices, payment, term** Free is unpaid. Pro is billed at the prices shown on the site (currently €5 per month or €50 per year). The amounts shown at checkout control. If VAT applies, it is shown at checkout or included in the price. Payment is made through Stripe. The subscription renews for the chosen term until you cancel it in account settings (Stripe customer portal). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. If Pro is past due, access usually remains for 7 days after the period ends. Pro features may then be locked. Cancelling Pro does not delete the workspace. ## **§ 4 Your duties** - You remain responsible for the content, legality, and tax correctness of your documents, including VAT, small-business exemption, reverse charge, e-invoicing, and payment details. - tobbli is not a tax adviser and does not replace legal or tax advice. - Hosted document links can be opened by anyone with the token. Treat the URL as a secret. - You decide whom you invite to the portal or studio, and which data you send to your own webhook endpoints. - You must not abuse the service (in particular no attacks, no bypass of access controls, no unlawful content). ## **§ 5 Payments from your clients** tobbli does not collect card payments from your clients by default. You record incoming payments (transfer, cash, and other methods) yourself. Stripe payment links can appear on hosted invoices when that feature is on. The payment contract is then between you, your client, and Stripe. tobbli is not your clients’ payment service provider. ## **§ 6 Data, export, deletion** The [**DPA**](https://tobbli.com/it/avv) applies to third-party personal data in the workspace. You can export the workspace as a ZIP. Deleting the account removes the workspace; cancelling a plan does not. After deletion, data may remain briefly in backups. ## **§ 7 Liability** The provider is fully liable for intent and gross negligence, and for harm to life, body, or health. For slightly negligent breach of material contractual duties, liability is limited to the foreseeable, typical damage, and at most to the amount you paid for tobbli Pro in the 12 months before the event (for Free: €100). Otherwise liability is excluded. In particular the provider is not liable for tax or legal errors in documents you create, for data loss you could have avoided by exporting, or for the reachability of hosted links you shared. ## **§ 8 Changes to these terms** The provider may change these terms for the future if there is an objective reason (law, case law, new features, security). The new version is announced by email or in the app. If you do not object within 30 days, the new version is deemed accepted. The notice will mention the right to object. If you object, the provider may end the contract at the end of the current period. ## **§ 9 Final provisions** German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The exclusive venue for disputes is, where legally permitted, Osnabrück.
