Kundportal

The client portal is their login, not a copy of your studio. Turn it on per client so they can review invoices, accept quotes, and upload files without a shared inbox thread.

  1. 1

Turn portal access on from the client record

Open the client and enable portal access. They receive their own sign-in. You are not sharing your workspace password.

  2. 2

Tell them what they will see

They see the documents and files you share with them — invoices to review, quotes to accept, uploads. They do not see other clients, your timers, or studio settings.

  3. 3

Send a quote they can accept in the portal

When the quote is ready, they can accept it from their login instead of forwarding a PDF around. The accepted quote is the record you convert from.

  4. 4

Let them upload, then turn access off if the job ends

Files they upload land on that client. If the engagement is over and you no longer want them in the portal, disable access on the client record.

What stays only in your studio

Time entries, expense receipts you have not shared, catalog internals, and other clients never appear in their list. The portal is a window onto their documents, not a second tobbli account with your data.

If they cannot sign in

Confirm portal access is still on, and that they are using the email on the client record. If that checks out, write to support — do not create a second client to “try again”, or you will split their documents.
